It symbolizes the immortality of the fire sparked from our school's prestige, love for the school, and the intellectual's Ivory Tower. This fire returns to our society and nation, and continues to shine through.

The communication mark represents the initials of the letters in Kyungil University, KIU. It symbolizes an open book and a turning page, implying an education that is beyond the limit, which is Kyungil's educational philosophy. It also represents the challenge to overcome limitations and to open the intellectual minds of Kyungilians towards the future and the world.

The dynamically visualized bear is the mascot of Kyungil. The mascot represents friendliness, initiative, patience, and endurance.

The graphic motive was developed for all printed and web materials. Also, the graphic motive can be used effectively with standard colors. The Graphic motive is used together with the school emblem, the communication mark, and others in order to increase Kyungil's branding and is used with other supplementary materials.
