KIU is equipped with a very strong and diverse group of foreign English instructors. Currently there are 30 instructors who teach the general freshman and sophomore English courses. These instructors also teach specific courses within the English department at KIU, including business English and institute courses where students are encouraged to join with the opportunity of improving their conversational English.

The group of foreign English instructors consists of native English speakers from countries all around the globe including, Ireland, Canada, U.S.A, New Zealand and England. The diversity of this group and back rounds of each of the instructors are what makes this group unique and strive for excellence as a team by each sharing and contributing their strengths to the program.

Throughout the duration of the spring semester, the instructors will not only be teaching their classes but also giving special lectures to the student population at KIU. These special lectures are an opportunity for the students to gain insight on the cultures from which our instructors grew up in and to learn a new skill. The special lectures will be held on Thursday afternoons from 12:00-1:15pm starting from March 21st. During exam weeks and holidays the lectures will not take place. We encourage our students to participate in these special lectures.
