If you have an interest in drawing, art, or the concept of beauty, then come and join us for our special lecture on ���How to Draw a Face���. Faces can be very difficult things to draw realistically. The most important elements to start with are correct symmetry and proportion. Each English teacher will introduce and teach a different element of the class.

David is from the east coast of Canada and he has been teaching in Daegu since 2001. He graduated from Hampton High School and later from the University of Cape Breton. Last year he received his Masters in TESL/TEFL (MA) from the University of Birmingham in England. He likes to hike in the mountains in his neighborhood and he loves eating Korean food. He will be introducing vocabulary that will help with identifying and drawing facial features.

Jennifer is from Wanganui, New Zealand. She has a Bachelor���s Degree in Fine Arts with a major in Printmaking. She completed a TESOL certificate in 2010 and has been teaching in Daegu since 2007. She will explain the proportions of the face and provide a demonstration on how to divide the face and add facial features on the correct parts of the face.

Gregory is from the central part of Canada and has been teaching in Daegu since 2009. He graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Degree in Political Science and completed a Masters in International Law from the Australian National University. He will be talking about the concept of beauty and its connection with symmetry.

Students who participate in this lecture will complete a portrait of a partner using the tools and directions provided. To conclude the lesson, we will present the portraits and correctly identify the owner of the portrait.
