Kyungil University announced that they have invited Jong Ho Song, the former director of Small Business as a chair-professor of the Department of Business.

He was born in Daegu in 1956, graduated from Gye Sung High School, and attended Yeungnam University, graduating with a diploma in electronic engineering. He has been working in the public service with the 22nd Higher National Diploma in technology.

He has successively filled in various important posts such as; the Commerce-Industry Ministry, the position of section head in the Business Incubator Center, Venture Promotion Division and the director of the Business Start-Up and Venture Headquarters of Small Business. Also, he received a presidential citation in 1998, the Comptroller General citation in 2000 and Korean Management Award from the Korean Association of Business Education in 2011.

Professor Song said, ��� I am planning not only on helping KIU students set dreams and to achieve their dreams based on what I have gained and experienced in office for a long period, but also to train them to be true outstanding individuals who will become community leaders in Korean society.
