The Business Incubator Center for Kyungil University was solely recommended for the ���2013 AABI Incubator of the Year Award��� sponsored by theAABI (Asian Association of Business Incubation) among other organizations in the country.

The criteria for the award consists of management���s competitiveness, range of providing services and best practice cases, establishment of support programs, financial stability and innovative practices. A single final business incubator center will be announced in mid-July as a victor after evaluation.

The final winner also will be invited to the AABI general meeting which is scheduled to be held in October in Shanghai, China and will have the opportunity to present the best practice case in business support. Furthermore, the opportunity is expected to help in becoming Asia���s leading business incubator institution.

Kwang Gu Lee, the leader of BIC said, ���KIU���s specialized incubator support program and an excellent performance in the BIC allowed the center to get recommended as a major BI Center in the country���. The Business Incubator Center of KIU will now have the change to step up to be a special university cultivating talented people who may work as a global CEO in the world through the award.

Meanwhile, the AABI is an international association that has local business incubator centers in eighteen countries in Asia including including Korea, China, Japan, India and Singapore since 2002. The AABI aims to revitalize Asia���s economy by promoting to build a network and encourage entrepreneurship between the member countries.
