Recently, the fuel crisis has been recognized and environmental regulations for automobiles have been strengthened around the world. Among these hot disciplines of new renewable energy, the ‘2013 Fuel Cell Talk Concert’ was held in the auditorium at KIU on Friday, the 24th. The Talk Concert, as the regular event, has been running from 2009 with a major goal of the fuel cell group being to not only to help prevent pollution and ensure a stable fuel and renewable energy, but also to contribute to the creation of local employment. Kyungil University had had the 4th Fuel Cell Talk Concert in April 2001.
The ‘2013 Fuel Cell Talk Concert’ kicked off the event with a lecture titled, ‘The Past of the Fuel Cell’ by professor Jong Ho Choi and other special lectures followed. Young Mo Gu, an Automotive Technology Institute Senior Fellow and Hyun Jun Lee, a HyunHyundai Research Fellow, who were invited explained a vision of renewable energy experts and employment strategy and also stated how to set a specific goal and head in the right direction.
After the special lecture, an open question and answer session followed. Professor Jong Ho Choi said, “I will help the students of RenewableEnergy Department to share the vision and build self-confidence through such an opportunity and finally to help them become renewable energy experts based on special knowledge and practical skills”. |
