Seven Kyungil University students (KIU), including Lee Young-Yeop, a 24 year-old senior from the Department of High-Tech Medical Systems, will attend twin universities in China and Japan as foreign exchange students from KIU.
Jang Gwang-Soo, a 23 year-old sophomore student majoring in Japanese from the School of Foreign Language and Gwon Soon-Do, a 24 year-old sophomore student, plan on studying for a year at Shikoku Gakuin University in Japan. Students Jin Kyung-Won, a 26 year-old junior majoring in Japanese Language and Ji Seung-Uhn, a 23-year old sophomore student from the School of Business, will study abroad in Japan for one semester.
Cho Hyun-Jin, a 21 year-old sophomore student from the Department of International Economics and Trade, expressed that he intends to learn a lot of things from Hubei University in China where he will be studying for for one year. Student Lee Young-Yeop who entered Jilin University and Kim So-Hee, a 22 year-old junior from the Department of Social Welfare, plan on focusing hard on their studies and working hard to maintain their scholarships.
All seven students wrote a statement pledging their sincere dedication to the program as they are representatives for both Kyungil University and South Korea. The message from Kyungil academic advisors was to “just go for it aggressively with passion and a challenging spirit”..
Cho Hyun-Jin, a student who will study abroad in China, commented “I will not waste my time because KIU has afforded me such a special opportunity. So I will do my best”. ’ |
