Kyungil University president, Jung Hyun-Tae, held the 1st Annual KIU Energy Day on Thursday, October 10th at 2pm. This event is promoted with the goal of increasing communication between the education and industry fields in developing the hydrogen fuel cell industry.

The event opened with a seminar from PD. Tae Jin-Kim of the Daegu Gyognbuk region business evaluation, titled ���The Status of Fuel Cell Industry and Strategies for the Daegu Gyongbuk Region���.  

The participants were introduced to information from 11 different companies and watched an ���Energy Day Exhibition���, which consistsed of pieces of capstan design from various senior students.

Professor Park Jin-Nam, the director of the Energy Human Resource Training Project commented, ���We will do our best to vitalize the hydrogen fuel cell industry through the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association���.

Meanwhile, the Department of Renewable Energy at Kyungil University has been selected in the field of ���Hydrogen fuel Cell Manpower Training Base Track��� promoted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy-Affiliated Organization and the Korean Institute of Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning.
