Kyungil University president, Jung Hyun-Tae, hosted the ���2013 Local Company Job Interview Roadshow for KIU Students��� at The Daegu Grand Hotel, on Tuesday, October 15th.

There were approximately 300 soon to be graduating students waiting at the venue, preparing for interviews and dressed appropriately in dress attire. The participants have been improving their interview skills through an online job application clinic, an online interview counseling corner, and a work camp program prepared by the KIU Employment Support Center. These students had the opportunity to interview with more than 50 companies based on their resume and application.

The Kyungil University Employment Support Center provided information pertaining to each company indicating that each company has a different approach and interview model. This was supplied to the candidates 15 days prior to the opening day in an attempt to promote employment rates.

The chosen venue, The Daegu Grand Hotel, is located in the center of the city and was chosen due to its easy access, for time efficiency, and any unnecessary subsidiary events were all omitted and the time was arranged in the afternoon according to the request of the companies.

A staff member from Kyungil University stated, ���We reject events such as exhibitions, for example job expos, and rather focus on offering practical help and the results are actually quite satisfying. Hopefully, the interview road show can continue in the future to resolve both college���s and company���s thirst by having continuous cooperation between the two groups���.
