Lecture Topic: Canadian Cuisine Goal for this lecture: Using a task based method, students, working in groups, will plan, and prepare a recipe for pancakes. Students will need to read, communicate, and infer in English in order to accomplish this task.
Lesson Plan: 12:00-12:05 –. Introduction, and short quiz about the history of pancakes 12:05-12:10 – Students wash hands and prepare their stations 12:10-12:15 – Students receive their ingredients list, and gather the required materials 12:15-12:50 – Students make their pancakes 12:50-1:05 - Students mingle around the room, and sample all of the other student’s pancakes.
