Kyungil University president, Hyun Tae-Jung, and the Business Support Center held the ���2013 Foundation Academy Completion Ceremony��� in the R & DB Center on Thursday, November 7th.

The KIU program has been running since 2005, and over those nine years, it remains as the only such program in the Daegu Gyeongbuk region. The KIU Foundation Academy had been conducted over a period of 11 weeks, from July 3rd to September 26th and included programs such as team teaching, YES Leaders special lectures, and seminars.

Three prep entrepreneurs, Kwon Tae-Joo, Noh Joo-Tae and Jung Seung-Won, out of a total of 40 individuals involved in the program, demonstrated what they have learned through the academy program by announcing their business plans such as product development and the manufacture of fermentation container, and product development and manufacture of Green Air-compressors.

The trainees who successfully finished the education program may be provided with follow-up service programs, such as: personalized mentoring and legal advice.

KIU has produced a total number of 289 people over 9 years in the Foundation Academy Program and in 2011 and 2012, the school was evaluated as an A-level for 2 consecutive years.

Additionally, KIU has earned the best level for ���Business Support Group��� for the tenth consecutive year, which is since its opening in 2003, and it was selected as the ���leading university in the training of academy-style of business establishment���.
