Mr. Yoon Jin-Phil, the chairman of the board of the Gyeongsan Industrial Complex Corporation, who was appointed as the 36th president of the Kyungil University Alumni Association in March 2012, has donated ten million won to the ���Hoping Constellation Fund��� at KIU.

The ���Hoping Constellation��� funding ceremony was held in the office of the president of KyungIl University at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 5th. KIU president Jung Hyun-Tae said, ���We will continue to educate our students, who can then give back to the community and make use of their training���.

Mr. Yoon Jin-Phil, the president of the KIU Alumni Association confessed, ���I am proud of Kyungil University and the fact that it has been growing over the last 50 years so I decided to donate a little money to my alma mater to increase the school���s development���.

Meanwhile, KIU will have its 50th anniversary in 2014 and is continuing to raise funds for the ���Hoping Constellation��� project for the purpose of remembering its 50-year history and to prepare for the next 50 years. Additionally, KIU has also named the newly constructed Ilchung building���s guest rooms as ���Yoon Jin-Phil Room���.
