On Tuesday November 12th, at 4p.m, Kyungil University held the signboard presentation ceremony of the ‘Innopolis Campus Development Project’ supported by the Ministry of Science, ICT, and the Future Planning (Minister Choi Mun-Kee) and Innopolis. KIU President Jung Hyun-Tae and Lim Chang-Min, the director of Innopolis, were both in attendance.

KIU was selected as the first Innopolis Daegu campus and will operate a business model development and and evaluation programs for industrializing ideas to prep entrepreneurs by digging techniques through the collaboration with local universities.

T hrough the education process, Fab Lab and mentoring programs will be provided for the participants. 
Also, the top prep entrepreneurs will have a chance to win a trip to visit Silicon Valley. KIU planned it vision of ‘taking the role of catalyst for the promotion of local industry’ in its name, SPARC: Start-up
Program to Activate Regional Industry by Commercialization of Technology.

Once the vision of this business model is achieved, more than 15 other business models will be established annually and may produce early business founders and arm them with state-of-the-art items. 
The head of BRIDGE (Bring up Regional Industry by Development of Great Entrepreneurship), Lee, Gwang-Gu, who has prepared this project, confessed that this program will be the best as it will be able to support the prep of entrepreneurs by connecting the various supporting programs from leading university’s business establishment. In addition, Lee said that they will do their best to organize the virtuous circulation in venture opening ecosystem.

Those who intend to apply for the Innopolis Campus development project have to submit their  application form to the Innopolis Campus Project Team by November 29th.
