The Kyungil University School of Architecture held the 47th KIU Architecture Exhibition on the 4th floor of building 9 on the 13th to 15 of November. There were over 80 pieces of art from over 200 undergraduate students.

The grand prizes were won by Kwon Ki-Won, a senior and an architectural design major, who formed a beautiful street connecting two disconnected cities via railroad under the theme of ���GATE WAY���, and by Ho Park-Min, a senior and architectural engineering major, who specified a vertical building farm under the title of ���Building Vertical Farm���. Several other practical concepts and design plans were also introduced, such as: eco-friendly, communication and welfare for the aged.

On November 13th, in addition to the exhibition, there were also special lectures from the honorary president of Chungwoon University, Lee Ri-Hyung, who has designed several outstanding local buildings, including 63 building, and from Professor Hyun Taek-Soo, who was inducted into the Honor of the Korean Institutes of Architects last February.

There were about 300 people in attendance, including government agents and the staffs of architects-related agencies, who participated at the farewell lecture, which began with the presentation of a lifetime achievement award from the Gyeongbuk regional governor, Kim Gwan-Yong, which was held in the library auditorium and showed their respect to the professor.

The Dean of the School of Architecture, Ha Kee-Joo, commented, ���Kyungil University School of Architecture has faced its 50th anniversary and is still contributing to the development of the culture of architecture and is the leading local architecture school. I want to give encouragement to the students who have done their best for the last year and give thanks the professors who have guided the students with passion and love���.
