KIU’s 1st Philippine language training course students collected relief items to help people in the Philippines who have suffered damage caused by typhoon called ‘Haiyan’ last year on the 25th of November in the KIU library lobby.

8 representatives of KIU’s 3rd Philippines language training course students including Kwon, Kwang-Hoon (Administration, Senior student) visited the Ajuy city hall and conveyed requested relief items to the city mayor, Juan R., Alvarez. After delivering those goods, they visited damaged areas and houses, and also they offered consolation in the Iloilo area.

“We were very thankful because KIU students visited and brought us very helpful relief items and offered consolation directly.” Said mayor Alvarez, and “As it lingers if you help someone when they suffer, our Ajuy citizens will remember KIU students forever.”
