The Building Innovator, a start-up business club from the school of architecture, participated in making a program named “Suspicious Neighborhood, our community toxic report” by the national current affairs TV program ‘Chang’ on KBS1 on the 16th of September.
This program was produced to let people know about the distribution of toxic manufacturing companies and the dangerousness caused by an accident involving the leaking of hydrofluoric acid in Gumi, Kyungbuk in September, 2012. The Building Innovator was requested to make a Lego Diorama and produced mockups of residential areas and industrial facilities.
Professor, Um Shin-Jo and the students of the Building Innovator played a big role in making the case that poisonous gas permeated into the residential areas at the beginning and the last part of the program realistically after putting great efforts into making the model for a month during a summer vacation.
The Building Innovator use Lego as an inauguration item and was selected as the 2013 Kyungbuk excellent start-up club. Their business items are building tectonic models and 3D planning using Lego as they produced Ilchung-gwan which is newly built dormitory. They will open an exhibition on the 22nd of September on the 1st floor of the library. |
