KIU held a ceremony to be twinned with KIU family companies and angel companies at Hotel Inter-Burgo at 4 P. M.

This ceremony sponsored by KIU Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation and Division of Entrepreneurship was to share the outstanding human and material resources of KIU and local companies. The practical cooperation system means a lot to both parties in the sense that it enhances the competitiveness of them.

KIU came to be twinned with about 100 companies, including SL Corporation, HANJUNG Automotive, and A-JIN Industrial Machinery, planning to establish the similar relations with many other companies.

provide expertise, technology, and human resources in developing products and put them on the market, while KIU will be able to enhance students' hands-on capabilities, promote employment, and achieve licenses in many fields.

KIU also established family-hood relations with angel companies that would be mentors and financial supporters to students envisioning their own business. KIU graduate Kim Shin-Ho, CEO of TMS Korea, and 14 others received a letter of appointment from Chung Hyun Tae, president of KIU.

One official at KIU stated, "Angel companies will give wings to the students who challenge themselves to establish a business. We will set up a network with about 30 companies from now on."

Chung Hyun Tae proclaimed with determination, "Our university will set up an industry-university collaboration system attached to local communities and make our best to vitalize economic development in our local communities.
