The Presentations of the Participants of Division of Entrepreneurship and Overseas Programs

Kyungil University, a leading institution for business establishment, had a conference with the students who completed overseas programs at the Auditorium of Humanism and Social Science at 2 P.M. on October 27th.

To promote the spirit of creating a business, KIU implemented an overseas training for excellent students in creating a business in San Francisco, USA, for 8 days and 6 nights from last August 24th to 31st.

Students' presentations were based on four themes: KOTRA and the Institute of Production Technology, Google & Intel Museum, UC Davis, and Exploration of Prestigious U.S. Universities. The participants who stood out in attending a circle for business establishment, in taking lectures for business establishment, and the contest for it showed confidence during their presentation, as Steve Jobs did in his presentations.

Kim Dong-Nam (a junior in the Department of International Commerce and Trade), who had interest in a venture firm, said, "I learned that unlimited creativity and trust in investors are extremely important. I appreciate Chung Hyun Tae, president of KIU, who gave me an opportunity to widen my vision."

Lee Guang-Goo, director of Division of Entrepreneurship stated, "I am pleased to notice that the participants have grown conspicuously. I'll support our students to become business leaders by helping them to be given an opportunity for overseas programs and business creation programs.
Chung Hyun Tae encouraged the students to put what they had learned during the programs into practice and to challenge what they were determined to achieve with the unfailing spirit by imagining the world in their own field.

After the presentation from Division of Entrepreneurship, the other teams that completed the summer overseas programs held the floor. The presentations were about thematic overseas culture experience (four teams), global business exploration in Malaysia (one team), and a language training at University of Sheffield in U.K. (one team).
