KIU concluded an agreement on industry-university collaboration with SMC (Seoul Medical Center) at the office of the center director at 2 P.M on Tuesday, October 25th.

Agreed upon MOU to promote the mutual growth via practical industry-university collaboration and improve people's health and medical industry, both institutions cooperate in the exchange of human resources, research activities, and practicum and employment.

With this agreement, KIU students will be given an opportunity for field works in the hospital which is equipped with highly advanced technology and facilities, and SMC comes to share KIU's research achievements.

Chung Hyun Tae, president of KIU, said, "We'll make every effort to create a synergetic effect through dynamic cooperation with SMC that has highly advanced technology and human resources" and continued, "KIU will maximize its brand value by establishing consistent and productive partnerships with prospective organizations."
