The programs of Mechanical Engineering, Controlled Robotics Engineering, and Electrical Engineering were officially primary-accredited from the Accreditation Engineering Education Institute. Primary-accreditation is granted to a program in which there are no certified graduates, and when a graduate is certified, via interim assessment, it is then transferred to principal-accreditation status. The ABEEK Licence Program is meant to narrow the gap between industry and academia. It also helps obtain certification in the university's accreditation process with public institutions. Primary-accreditation can contribute to the globalization and enhancement of engineering education. To provide effective and timely accreditation, ABEEK maintains close relationships with academic societies, public institutions and providers of engineering technology all across the country. |
