She attempted to combine psychology with Sasang medicine beginning 2001 with the aid of her husband. Together, they hope to show the world the excellence of oriental medicine.
The couple started to study together in the U.S.A. In 2003, she published a thesis about the physical and psychological characteristics of Sasang classification in the international Journal of Alternative and Complementary.
After her return to Korea in 2007, she began conducting a joint study at the Korea Oriental Medical Center, Pusan University and Yeonsai University.
Her work as helped form the foundation of convergence research development and Sasang constitution diagnosis and therapy. Furthermore, the SPQ is expected to be an effective tool for the emerging combined field of psychology and oriental medicine.
