The Environment Minister Award in the ‘2011 Vitalized Bottle Green Competition’ went to the artworks ‘Bottle Shake’ and ‘Sliding Game’.
The pieces were created by five Industrial Design department seniors at Kyungil University.

The Korea Vessel Recirculation Association is hosted the competition, and the Ministry of Environment and the Korea Environment Corporation provided support.
There was a four-step evaluation from last November: submitting work plans, a draft and a drawing, modeling, and installing the object. On June 3th, the ceremony was held in the Korea Vessel Recirculation Association Center in Cheungnam area .

One of the prize-winnings, Bottle Shake, is currently located in the Korea Vessel Recirculation

Association Center. It is a game where we roll a bead into bottles and then put it into the furrows of both sides by utilizing the maze game principle.
The other one, Sliding Game, is designed to make noise by smashing bottles together and then rolling them in several directions.

A competitor Go Hye Jin said, “When I thought of what I should design with the recycled stuff, I decided on two pieces, Bottle Shake and Sliding Game. And I want to thank Professor Kim Dae Sung who stayed up with me to help complete the artwork.

Of the one hundred teams nationwide, Go Hye Jin’s team won the 10 million won grand prize, The Environment Minister Award.
