Kim Seung-Kyum(a senior in the Fashion Design), received an award in ���The 1st Daegu Fashion Design Contest��� hosted by The Daegu Geongbuk Fashion Business Cooperative and the city of Daegu.
The purpose of the contest is to discover and foster unknown talented designers and it is organized by the DGFC (Daegu Geongbuk Fashion Business Cooperative).
Kim developed a creative new design trend and made a lasting impression by being the only university student to receive an award.
On September 17th, the gala show was held and Kim���s design work was displayed in the catwalk at the award ceremony.
Kim said, ���It was hard for me because it needed persistence and creativity but it was a rewarding time for me. Furthermore, I am really proud of finishing my work and receiving the award. I want to try to contribute to the fashion industry in the future.���
