Ten KIU students from the department of fire safety have passed the obligatory fire fighter selection test. The duties of a fire fighter can involve them being stationed at a fire station, responding to do on scene fire services and fire prevention.
The students who completed this process can then apply for a special recruitment test later. The majority of students who did the test are from Seoul University, Yonsei University and Korea University. However, KIU students performed exceptionally well on the test with a 72% pass rate, which inevitably raises the distinction and status of the university. |
Two of the students who did the test, Kwon Sung Min and Kuem Jong Suk, prepared for the test under the guidance of KIU academic advisors. The advisors provided detailed information of the test and mock tests to help the students prepare. Notably, two freshman students who passed the test revealed that they will now take the fire administration test. |
