About 60 excellent medium sized companies including SL Co, KyungChang Co, Sambo Motors Co, Ajin Co, Daegu Bank were there interviewing students.

Kyungil University president, Chung, Hyun-Tae, hosted the ‘2015 Job Interview Roadshow for KIU Students’ at the Inter-bulgo Hotel, on Thursday, October 8th.

About 400 students who already submitted their applications abd resumes to KIU were interviewed at the respectful booth of each company.

KIU selected potential interviewees after thorough inspection process, including opening a list of participating companies, receiving applications, consulting and coaching students, studying preferable companies and potential employees, and co-hosting the selection process of candidates by examining their personal histories. This makes the chance of acceptance much higher because students and companies already gone through a very detailed inspection.

Chung, Sung-Il, a 4th grade of Mechanical Engineering Major, said, “After being examined once, interviews were very tense and ling so I hope the rate of accentance would be higher.”

Dean of student affairs, Park Myung-Soo, said, “This roadshow is absolutely informative for both students and companies because participating companies have interviews after they study information about interviewees in advance.” He added, “This strengthens the relationship between companioes and KIU as well as resulting in qualified employment.”

Meanwhile, public enterprises such as Korea Gas Cooperation, Korea Appraisal Board, Korea Student Aid Foundation and Korea Environmental Cooperation operated employment consulting booths.
