Kyungil University’s–Chilgok-Gun Senior Technology Business Inauguration Center was rated and received an S grade , the highest level, on the evaluation scale based on operations in 2015 at the Senior Technology Business Inauguration Center.

The Chilgok-Gun Senior Technology Business Inauguration Center, jointly run by Kyungil University (president Chung Hyun-tae) and Chilgok-Gun (mayor BaekSeon-gi),  received the highest rating, grade S, on the evaluation based on its operations for 2015 at the Senior Technology Business Inauguration Center, hosted by Small and Medium Business Administration and supervised by the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development.

In the recently reported evaluation on operations, it got high marks by fostering 29 senior entrepreneurs last year through the start-up business networking seminar opening, the customized education, such as technology-based start-up business items, the advice and consultation of professional consultant, and for the optional support of working expenses.

The Chilgok-Gun Senior Technology Business Inauguration Center, functioning for successful start-up businesses of senior entrepreneurs who have excellent items and technical skills and for the creation of high-quality jobs, was rated grade A in the evaluation on reassignment in 2014 since its establishment in 2012. It also provides facilities and places for seniors (over age 40) and supports all sorts of business management to foster the senior entrepreneurs through government support of 4.2 billion won until 2017.

This year, the center plans to support the development of start-up business items for regional characteristics and human networking for entrepreneurs through diverse programs such as advice and consultation for start-up business, entrepreneurship education, special lectures for networking, seminars, and workshops. In particular, the internal stability of business is pushed forward with the practical follow-up management system through the efficient start-up business program of Kyungil University, the leading start-up university based in the Kyungbuk area.

Chung Hyun-tae, president of Kyungil University, announced that all necessary support would be provided to foster the Chilgok-Gun Senior Technology Business Inauguration Center as the most powerful mecca for start-up businesses, based on the capacity for start-up business of Kyungil University, the leading start-up university in Korea.

Kyungil University, being the leading start-up university based in the Kyungbuk area, is planning to support the successful entrepreneurial activities by discovering (prep) entrepreneurs with promising start-up business items through astart-up business items commercialization program this year.
