KIU students' employment rates are in order: 62.5% with small & medium businesses, 9.4% with public relations organizations, and 8.5% with conglomerates.

KIU published 'the Report on Satisfaction Measurement' with the department of student employment and the LINC business group.

This report aims to make up for educational courses with correct graduated students' satisfaction of employment and the needs for industries. Also, it will strengthen the students' innovative ability through school and work links. For this, KIU asked the Daegyeong Research Center to conduct research using phone-interviews about students' employment & satisfaction. They studied the results of 555 students who graduated from KIU and also measured the qualifications of human resources for industries on 163 industries.

This report shows the employment rate for small & medium business is 62.5%, the most common type of employment for students, it was 9.4% with public relation organizations, 8.5% with conglomerates, 7.2% with small hidden business industries, and 12.4% with other corporations. In addition, 79.1% of students were hired as permanent workers and 92.3% of students received company-health-insurance. As 71.6% of respondents didn’t want to get additional help for finding jobs from the school, students who graduated from KIU were highly satisfied with their jobs.

The result of the research on companies shows that the most important qualification factor is personality, with a rating of 90.6%,and the next most significant factors being cooperation (86%), majors (76.2%), and computer application ability (74.6%) . Also, it shows a high score of (79.7%) on KIU graduated students' working attitude and the highest score portion was received on responsibility (82.3%) with a rating of high satisfaction from the companies. With these results, the responsibility and expectations placed on KIU students granted by companies is approved.
