5 venture groups from Kyungil University(President Hyun Tae Chung) have been selected for the ‘Venture Stars 300’ competition by the Ministry of Education. This is a nurturing program for 300 selected groups from universities all over Korea to become ventured businesspeople.

The selected venture-items from Kyungil are five, such as:���tissue proto-type cup holder���,���emotional soap���,���emergency portable luminous spray��� ���wearable lock having automatic directing system for bike���, and ���monitor controlling system focused on users ���. They received 1 million won and certification rewards from the Ministry of Education, and will get supported by other programs like online venturing education and consultation from experts.

The ‘2016 Venture Stars 300’ competition was held at the aT center in Seoul, Yangjaedong on May 24thunderthetheme‘Challenge is started from Changgo(���go; start and go). This event was designed around the idea of  sharing venturing ideas between university students, and the minister and other officials from the Ministry of Education and National Research Foundation of Korea were in attendance. On that day, there were various programs, such as awards presented by the minister from the MOE, lectures by former venture businesspersons, and an interview for the K-start up 2016 final.

Woo Hyuk Jang(26) from the department of fire safety at Kyungil Univesity attending this event and said that it was a chance to view and change his thinking on venture items and to supplement items for national safety from a different perspective.

Kyungil University demonstratedits power on the employment rate by having 5 groups selected out of 8 in the premier league. It’s the result of Kyungil’s systematic program, moduled by LINC and related to venture group projects. Based on this program, Kyungil had the best result on many venture competitions in Korea, such results include receiving prizes from the minister of MOE.

Lee kwanggu, the head of LINC, said ”Venture education and nurturing it are the strong points in Kyungil University, so KIU has focused on that field.” Also he added, “KIU will develop creative educational courses and harmonize new educational systems to make venture education the best courses for KIU.
