KIU Employment Rate 59.9%, holding first place ranking among universities in Deagu and Kyungbuk whose graduates are over 1,000.

It is revealed that Employment rate of Kyungil university ranked first place among universities in Deagu and Kyungbuk that the number of graduates is over 1,000.

‘Academy information’ which is public announcement web site of Ministry of Education recently announced that according to the university employment statistical data (the basic date: 1st June, 2016), the employment rate of Kyungil university is 59.9 percentage, which is ranked first place among universities in Deagu and Kyungbuk where at least over 1,000 students have graduated so far. It is presented that the average employment rate of universities in this area is 50.6 percentage.

This statistical data revealed the number of employees who not only graduated from universities in August last year and in February this year but also join their company health plan. This is an interim report showing each university’s employment rate this year.

Lee Jeom-chan, the dean of employment department in Kyungil university stated that, “Through the systematic counselling program, it is possible for students to begin planning their career earlier. In addition, Kyungil university provides a variety of job competency improvement programs and recruitment support services that encourage students to be hired at local enterprises with outstanding performance.” Lee also emphasized, “Establishing this virtuous circle system is a driving force of high employment rate of Kyungil university.”
