Kiu and the Chilgok-gun signed a dormitory agreement for students from Chilgok on the 16th of January in the medium conference hall in KIU.
Beginning in 2015, 10 students from the Chilgok-gun will be moved into the KIU dormitory, which was newly built last year, and the Chilgok-gun will pay one hundred million won for developmental funding. Additionally, KIU will pay scholarships up to 50% of those recommended by the Chilgok-gun as a maintenance fee for the dorms.
Chung Hyun Tae, President of KIU, said, “In the middle of implementing a variety of projects together with the Chilgok-gun, we’ve made an agreement for the dorm. KIU will incubate those from the Chilgok-gun to be excellent people of ability and will take care of them from the start to the end.” |
