Kyungil University (President Chung Hyun-tae) was selected as the only university participating in the "2017 Industry-University Customized Human Resources Training Program" sponsored by the Small and Medium Business Administration for three years in a row.

One of the program’s purposes is to nurture skillful engineers trained by cooperating education with university and each industry. Also, companies that are looking for human resources can join it and solve their manpower shortage problem. It would aim to promote youth employment as well.

Kyungil University has agreements on this education with local companies such as Hanjung cns, Seokmun Electric and Ilji Tech, and 45 students from three departments, including the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, the Department of Electronics Engineering and the Robotics Engineering Department have conducted on-the-job training, .

Kyungil University has been selected for the project for the last three years and will conduct 200 extra hours of customized classes required in the real field by receiving 140 million KRW for project expenses until next February.

Professional technicians would be conducted at individual companies for 4 weeks by doing each project.

In addition, 10% of the participating students will keep studying for their master's degree program after completion of the project.
