Kyungil University (president, Chung Hyun-tae) and Cheongdo County (governor, Lee Seung-yul) signed an agreement supporting students who join the local dormitory in the conference room of the main building of Kyungil University on Friday, June 9th.

According to the agreement, Kyungil University will allocate 10 students from Cheongdo County each semester to the local dormitory, and Cheongdo County will donate 100 million won to the development fund. Furthermore, Kyungil University provides scholarship for 50% of the dormitory fee to all students who live in the local dormitory, compared to other universities which only gives priority of residence for students from Cheongdo County,

Chung Hyun-tae, president of Kyungil University, said, "We will nurture students who have benefited from the local dormitory as excellent talents who can serve their hometowns and communities."
