On October 17, Kyungil University (President Hyun Tae Chung) signed an exchange agreement with North Minzu University (President Yuan Ren Wen / General Director) located in Yinchuan County, Yunchuan City, China. The universities have started full-scale exchanges.
On this day, Seung-seop Ahn, the Vice-president of Education at Kyungil University, signed an exchange agreement with representatives of North Minzu University. Based on the agreement, they plan to begin an exchange of professors, staff and students. As well as an exchange of academic information, joint research, co-authored educational materials, and so forth.
Seung-seop Ahn, the Vice-president of education at Kyungil University, said, “We have concluded an exchange agreement with North Minzu University to aid our university in expanding in the field of international exchange and cooperation.” He continued, “We will actively engage in exchanges and cooperation in various fields such as education, research and the exchange of students.”
North Minzu University is a four-year university located in Yinchuan Country in Yinchuan City, with the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of northern Shaanxi Province. It was established in 1984 and changed to the current name in 2008. The university has 51 majors and more than 15,000 students enrolled with 56 ethnicities making up to 65 percent of its student population.
