Kyungil University (President Hyuntae Jung) conducted intensive prevention on the campus using drones on the 13th to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and make a safe campus.

On this day, the epidemic prevention activity was conducted mainly in blind spots that are difficult to control by people or vehicles, such as the entrance to the school, the gymnasium, the library, and dormitories, by two drones supported by KIU Unmanned Aerial Education Center. In addition to the prevention of drones, Kyungil University frequently takes preventative measures and disinfection works.

An official from Kyungil University said,"after the start of the semester, two weeks of online classes will be conducted, but drones will be used on campus quarantine to keep students safe from COVID-19 and relieve parents' concerns.“

The KIU Unmanned Aerial Education Center, which hosted the quarantine, has been approved by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport as an educational institution specializing in ultra-light aircraft. It is also actively engaged in education programs for local goverments and businesses in connection with the KIU drone utilization specialist training team.
