Total turnover of 23.9 billion won, employment creation of 224, 100% survival rate of businesses of graduates

The business incubation center of Kyungil University(president, Chung Hyun Tae) was chosen as the best one among 22 centers in North Gyeongsang Province.

The North Gyeongsang Province held an awards ceremony of business incubation center and discussion meeting between young adults and startup businesses in Kyungil University. The business incubation center of Kyungil University was chosen as the best one among 22 centers in North Gyeongsang Province and received a governor medal and industrialization capital of fifty million won.

Kyungil University concentrated on fields of specialized automobile parts and machinery materials converged with IT and achieved magnificent results such as total turnover of 23.9 billion won in 2019, employment creation of 224, and 100% survival rate of businesses of graduates. Kyungil University contributed to job creation, revitalization of the local economics such as attracting investment and exports. North Gyeongsang Province highly recognized those achievements of Kyungil University.

The support project for business incubation center is to invigorate the business incubation business which supports technology development, prototype production, and consulting cost for startup businesses. There are currently 22 business incubation centers and 570 startup businesses in North Gyeongsang Province.

Hong Jae Pyo, a vice-president of industry and academia of Kyungil University, Jeon Woo Hun, a vice-governor of economic affairs in North Gyeongsang Province, and Shin Heon Wook, a president of Gyeongbuk Techno Park attended the awards ceremony and discussed difficulties of establishing businesses and solution plans with young CEOs.
