The LINC+ project (headed by Hyun Woo Kim) announced that it held its opening of the office for Leaders in Industry-University Cooperation (LINC)+ on the first floor of the Industry-University Cooperation Center on the 25th (Friday).

About 20 professors including President, Hyun Tae Chung and some high ranking school officials participated in this event. The event sequence was as follows; (1) LINC+ promotion plans, (2) presenting the letter of appointment to committee members, (3) presenting the letter of appointment to the chairperson of the committee, (4) LINC+ committee, and (5) the opening of the office.

The vice-president of Industry-University Cooperation Center, Hee Ju Park who participated in the event said “Kyungil University was firstselected as a LINC project in 2014 and is still a LINC+ project still 2017, so externally recognized educational potentials for industry-university cooperation. He asserted that the university would try more to develop men of ability attuned to industry-university cooperation and to activate industry-university cooperation by co-working with the community in a mutually reinforcing way”

Kyungil University has been consecutively selected as ‘excellent’ university for two years with the operation to foster Leaders in Industry-University Cooperation (LINC) sponsored by the Ministry of Education. In addition, it has been chosen to be community based Leaders in Industry-University Cooperation (LINC+) this year, and has continued to increase its prestige of being the best university in the field of industry-university cooperation with assistance of 占�200 hundred million by the government for 5 years. Kyungil University has plans to share technology, facilities, and its research ability as well as to make field practices, by establishing an organic system for cooperation among the university, students, professors, and companies.
