On the 20th (Wed) the KIU Industry and Academics Collaboration (Park In-Hwan, head of the department) and the Industry and Academics Collaboration of the five universities in the Daegu and Kyong-buk province(KNU, KMU, KUMOH, DAEGU, and YU) signed a memorandum of understanding with KOGAS (Korea Gas Corporations)in order to support the technology field on small and mid-sized enterprises (SME).

According to the agreement, they are going to cooperate for: selection and evaluation of technology development cooperation project; technical mentoring regarding technical development cooperation project selection; consultation about difficult technologies of SME; support of the use of research and development equipment and facilities; and establishment and operation of a knowledge network.
