On the way to the employment camp, all students were holding not just a casual suit, but a business suit in their hands which they are going to wear when they have a job interview on the last day of the camp. KIU provides the participants of ‘DoDream’ Employment Camp with job interviews and recruitment opportunities from top local companies as well as employment training, so the participating students have high expectations of the camp.

KIU announced that 40 students participated in the ‘DoDream’ Employment Camp held at Daemyung Resort in Cheongsong. The camp was held for three days, beginning on November 3rd, and achieved the desired results for 10 of the students as they were hired by top local companies. ‘DoDream’ Employment Camp continues to gain popularity with students because KIU invites some enterprises which are planning to recruit some employees, and the enterprises hold job interviews on the spot in the second half of the year.

40 students from both the junior and senior class were selected in advance based on résumés and letters of self-introduction participated this camp. Top local companies such as Winitech Co. Ltd., AMS Co. Ltd., Hanjung ncs Co. Ltd., Saeshin Precision Co. Ltd., Dentis Co. Ltd., Shilla Industrial Co. Ltd., participated in the camp to interview and recruit new employees.

The human resources managers of each company had a role-play interview, lectured on successful interview skills, and proposed personalized feedback and strategy for employment through the analysis on simulated job interviews.

In the job interviews conducted on the last day of the camp, 10 students (Winitech Co. Ltd., 2 people , AMS Co. Ltd., 1 person, Hanjung ncs Co. Ltd., 1 person, Saeshin Precision Co. Ltd., 2 people, Dentis Co. Ltd., 1 person, Shilla Industrial Co. Ltd., 3 people) passed the first or the final round of the interviews.

Bae Sang-wook, the Dean of Employment, said “we are trying to provide students with a variety of employment opportunities, and ‘DoDream’ Employment Camp is a part of these efforts.” He added “we continue to support our students’ employment by preparing helpful employment programs.”
