Kyungil University (President Chung Hyun-Tae) held 'The 6th Department of Emergency Medical Technology Seminar' in the library hall on the 14th.
In this seminar, 42 second year students from the Emergency Department vowed to carry out the mission of rescue and transfer as a good Samaritan with basic morals and affidavit of emergency rescuers.
In the morning, first-aid treatment methods, including: automatic cardiopulmonary bypass, tracheal intubation, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and Himirich law were performed on campus students. In the afternoon, they conducted the star awards ceremony for life, the Russian National Fire Department's short-term training report, flash mob, and first aid simulation
Particularly, on that day, the graduates who acted as emergency rescue and paramedics at the Kyungsang University Hospital and the Masan Fire Station attended and cheered on the juniors of preliminary rescue workers. The alumni came out (being the only four-year Emergency Department in Yeongnam Province), and they helped the students to establish themselves as excellent emergency rescue workers in the region. Graduates presented their medical scissors with a name for their volunteers, and two scholarships were awarded to encourage students.
Students performed flash mobs to promote CPR on the auditorium stage and simulated emergency patient treatment based on the earthquake that caused the entire nation to feel uneasy last year. Patients suffering from airway burns caused by earthquakes, patients suffering from pelvic fractures due to collapsed buildings, and patients suffering from traffic accidents were simulated and demonstrated to first aid and patient transfer. Demonstrating students showed a serious and calm attitude and made a deep impression.

Kim Hyoung-Jin, who took the oath as a representative of the second grade, pledged that "as an emergency resident, we will work with confidence and composure and moral responsibility in any situation".

I hope that students will be reborn as professional emergency relief specialists who can protect the health and life of emergency patients by having a sense of mission. "
