Kyungil University (President Cheong Hyun-Tae) decided to give a special disaster scholarship to help students and parents affected by the 5.4 magnitude earthquake in Pohang on December 15th. As a result, the scholarship will be awarded from Monday, the 20th regardless of whether students get other scholarships or not.

The applicants should be students who suffered from the earthquake in 2017, and they must be able to submit a proof of damage fact and a copy of resident registration issued by their local government office or local resident center together with the special scholarship application. The scholarship will be paid to the students' personal accounts at the beginning of December. Kyungil University will announce the "2017 Earthquake Special Scholarship Application Guide" on the website and will get applications.
