All of the candidates within both the Nursing department and Emergency Medical Technology department at Kyungil University (President Chung Hyun-tae) have successfully passed their respective National licensing examinations.

It was recently announced that all 91 prospective nursing graduates passed the National nursing license Examination for 2018. Since its inception, 5 years ago, 100% of all prospective nursing graduates at Kyungil have passed the National examination.

These successful applicants will have the opportunity be trained at the University of Liverpool in the UK and at the University of Guelph in Canada. Furthermore, they have been recognized as excellent nursing personnel and have confirmed their employment at large medical institutions at the general hospital level or higher. These results are partly a result of work done at the simulation center within the Nursing department and through extensive hospital field practice, all the training was helped to improve the student’s problem solving ability within their field.

In addition, all of the 32 prospective graduates studying in the Emergency Medical Technology department have passed the 24th National Examination for the First Level Emergency Medical Technicians. Their successful completion of these exams ensures their employment as fire-fighters and emergency medical technicians at general hospitals.
