The students in the department of Digital media Design at Kyungil University (President Hyuntae Chung) were honored with one team winning a bronze medal and three teams winning a prize at the US Spark Design Awards in 2021.

This competition, along with Red Dot and iF in Germany and IDEA in the United States, is evaluated as a credible international design competition that can objectively verify the skills of professional designers and design majors.

The winning works suggested a concept under the theme of mobile healthcare design in 'User Experience Design (Visual)' class (advisor Jiseon Ahn) for the 4th grade.

Yejin Kim (team leader), Yein Kim, and Gayeon Gu, who won the bronze medal, suggested the ���Dr.PPippo��� application for learning how to deal with emergency situations for school-age children.

Youngjun Ko (team leader), Hyein Kim, and Gyutaek Park proposed the 'SELENE' application, which provides indirect sleep induction and sleep motivation. Jeongan Kim (team leader), Jihyeon Kim, and Myeongsu Bae proposed the ���Mind Museum for Art Therapy��� application, which provides self-psychological diagnosis, chatbot psychological counselor selection, and VR art museum. Lastly, Sangjun Kim (team leader), Dokyung Lee, and Chunmyeong Lee proposed the 'BYE RUS' application for droplet virus education.

Yejin Kim said, ���I received a lot of help from the professor, the team members who worked hard, the supporting fund for the contest from the university. I am very happy to have received such an undeserved award thanks to them.���

The Department of Digital Media Design at Kyungil University has been consistently showing remarkable design education achievements such as international competitions and international exhibitions with the continuous and full support of the LINC+ project group.
