Kyungil University (President Chung Hyun-tae) was the first local university to obtain certification in the 2021 university evaluation certification organized by the Ministry of Education. As a result, Kyungil University was selected as a general financial support university in the 3rd anniversary of the Ministry of Education's basic competency diagnosis evaluation and received a university institution evaluation certification.

The Ministry of Education judged all universities nationwide as 30 criteria for evaluation in five areas: ��� University ideology and management ��� curriculum and learning ��� teachers and employees ��� student support and facilities ��� university performance and social responsibility.

In addition, Kyungil University has been the first to obtain certification among universities in Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do in periodic evaluations, starting with the 2012 evaluation when university institution evaluation was first conducted, and this evaluation also became the first in the region for three consecutive times.

President Chung Hyun-tae said, "We met all 30 evaluation criteria and met all three university institution evaluation certifications," adding, "There was a steady and bold investment in educational conditions, and it was a result of all students and faculty working together to gather wisdom for university development."
