The taekwondo team of Kyungil University has gotten a good score at the national taekwondo team competition hosted by Korean College Taekwondo Association President Cup.

This competition sponsored by Korean College Taekwondo Association was played for individual and team competitions with Gyeorugi, Pumsae, Taekwon Performance, Gyeokpa. About 600 contestants coming from 30 national college teams participated in the heated competition.

The university has won the 2nd place at the 5-person team match(Kim, Juwon; Park, Geechan; Kwon, Taeho; Kim, Younghoon; Park, Minjae and Kim, Duhee), the 2nd place at the mixed 3-person team match(Kwon, Yonghyun; Kim, Duhee and Park, Saeryeng), and also the 3rd place at the female 3-person team match(Kim, Minseo; Han, Gaeun; Leem, Suyeon and Park, Saeryeng)
