KIU received a donation of five cadastral survey equipment (total station) from the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters (Director Lee Ju-hwa) of the Korea Land Information Corporation(LX) on the 15th(Thursday).

The five total stations donated on this day are equipment that can observe distance, vertical angle, and horizontal angle with one machine and are used to create topographic maps.

Lee Ju-hwa, head of LX Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters, said, "We hope that the donated equipment will help foster excellent human resources such as improving students' practical skills and improving the educational practice environment.���

Han Soo-hee, head of the Real Estate Intelligence Department, said, "It will be of great help to train majors who can be put into practice immediately after graduation, and thank LX for donating the equipment."
