Kim Tak-hoon, a graduate of Kyungil University's Department of Photography and Imaging (1994), took office as the first foreign director of the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York on the 11th.

 

SVA, along with Parsons School of Design and Pratt Institute, is one of New York's top three art schools, producing prominent talents in the field of culture and arts, including Steve Ditko, the original author of "Spider-Man," Brian Singer of the film "Bohemian Rhapsody," and Lee Je-seok, the author of "Advertising Genius Lee Jae-seok."

 

Professor Kim Tak-hoon, who graduated from SVA with a bachelor's degree in film/animation and a master's degree in computer art, has been a supervisor at MTV, a global music/pop culture broadcasting channel, and is now a professor at Chung-Ang University's Graduate School of Advanced Video.
