The Korea-China Cultural Exchange Exhibition will be held for three days from the 10th at Collaboration Square, the Academic Information Service.

The exchange exhibition was prepared by Chinese international students studying at Kyungil University and was held to "understand Chinese culture and arts through performances and exhibitions," "forming a consensus with Korean students through various cultural experiences and exhibition viewing," and "increasing trust between Korea and China and promoting continuous activities through mutual cooperation."

The opening ceremony of the exchange exhibition held on the first day was attended by many officials from China-related organizations, including the Kyungil University International Exchange Center, the Chinese Consulate General in Busan, and the Association of Northeast Asian Local Governments.

On the first day of the exchange exhibition, solo performances of guqin (Chinese string instrument) and tai chi were held, and experience of qipao, Chinese tea tasting, and exhibition of works (traditional painting, modern art, photography, sculpture and pottery) were held. The exhibition runs through the 12th.

Daewoo (30 years old), a Chinese international student who participated in the exchange, said, "It was meaningful to promote the exchange to Korean students studying Chinese culture together," adding, "In particular, I could feel the bond of neighboring countries as Korean students enjoyed playing guqin and old and experiencing qipao."

"I hope the Korea-China Cultural Exchange Exhibition, which started for the first time this year, will be an opportunity to understand the culture between Chinese and Korean students," President Chung Hyeon Tae said. "We will continue to hold exchange exhibitions to increase the scale."
