Our university's Department of Sports Rehabilitation Medicine conducted volunteer activities at the '14th Pedestrian Day: Let's Walk Together Step by Step' event, hosted by Gyeongsan City on November 11th. They provided consulting on injury prevention and rehabilitation related to walking to citizens.

The event, held at the Namcheon Dunchi Outdoor Performance Venue in Gyeongsan City, featured various education and programs aimed at promoting proper and safe walking for the citizens of Gyeongsan.

The Department of Sports Rehabilitation Medicine received great response from the citizens by providing services such as sports massage, stretching, sports taping, and consulting on injury prevention and rehabilitation for promoting healthy walking.

Professor Kim Young-wook from the Department of Sports Rehabilitation Medicine, who led the event, stated, "We were able to highlight the significant role of sports rehabilitation not only in sports settings but also in daily life." He added, "It was a valuable experience to contribute to the local community by applying the professional knowledge and skills learned at the university.
