KIU has been selected as a priority negotiation university for the '2024 University Job Plus Center Hub Project' hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.

The University Job Plus Center Hub Project is aimed at providing systematic employment support services to students, graduates, and local youth. With KIU's selection for this project, a total of 3.6 billion won in funding will be allocated over five years, with 720 million won annually from the Ministry of Employment and Labor, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, Gyeongsan City, and university funds, to support the career development and employment of young people.

Through this hub project, KIU plans to implement various programs such as the FLY Job Learning Program, One-Stop Integrated Professional Counseling Services, Youth Specialized Job and Job-seeking Skills Enhancement Programs, expansion of outstanding non-curricular programs within the university, and enhancement of employment capabilities for international students.

President Jung Hyun-tae stated, "KIU will provide high-quality services such as career counseling, resume consulting, and job referrals to enhance the employment capabilities of students, graduates, and local youth," adding, "Through this project, Kyungil University will fulfill its mission and role as a hub university for the University Job Plus Center."
