Kyungil University opened the Internationl Cooperation Center at Tashkent National University of Transportation. Kyungil University(President Jung Hyun-tae) signed an MOU to foster global talent and revitalize global networks last July.

Kim Hyun-woo(Vice president at Kyungil University), Son Yong-ho(Director of International Exchange Center), Baherdir(Vice president at Tashkent National University���s Department of International Cooperation) and others attended the opening ceremony.

In addition to the opening ceremony, the International Cooperation Center conducted interviews with approximately 70 new students who applied to the Department of Mechanical and Automative Engineering and the Department of Global Business.

Kyungil University���s International Cooperation Center plans to promote admission to Kyungil University and review documents to recruit excellent international students. In addition, Korean language education courses are also operated to ensure smooth adaptation of selected international students to life in Korea.

This coming January, a global capstone design program is scheduled to be held as part of the LINC 3.0 industry-academia linkage education project between Tashkent National University of Transportation and universities in the Gyeongbuk region. Furthermore, it is expected to foster professional manpower in Uzbekistan and Gyeongsangbuk-do through active exchange and communication.
